Ahuma AdodoadjiAhuma completed his graduate studies in the University of London and, has worked for three decades in the Development and Humanitarian sector. He served in various leadership capacities in World Vision, Carter Center, MAP International, World Relief, CARE USA and Plan USA where he served as President/CEO At CARE USA he led an Emergency Capacity Building initiative that brought 7 agencies (CRS, IRC, Save the Children, Mercy Corps, World Vision and CARE) together. This project was funded by the Gates Foundation. (2002 to 2005) After spending years fighting global poverty, he has concluded that Enterprise needs to be deployed as an additional tool to fight global poverty and improve the lives of the poor. He founded AFRILINK Entrepreneurs International in 2010, to advance this agenda.

Julius Kolawole MBAAn engineer by training, Julius has 20 years plus experience in operations in the cooperate sector. He is a highly respected as a leader in various community groups in Rhode Island.  He has also spent 5 years teaching engineering to African students, in the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

Salil Patel, MD – Director of Strategy & Advisor to CEO

Salil is the co-founder of two Big Data startups in Boston, and a consultant to private investors and hedge funds.  He brings expertise in seed-stage capital, due diligence, analytics, and business-model generation. A physician and a Fulbright Scholar, Salil offers 20 years of experience in evidence-based product/process development; in sectors including the life sciences, IT, security, and applied technology. As a member of the global cohort of young entrepreneurs, with personal ties to the Africa, Salil believes strongly in AFRILINK’s promise of creating connections – and creating change, through enterprise.

EVA NTALAMI – PROGRAM COORDINATOR FOR AFRILINK IN KENYA

Eva’s experience spans more than 7 years in the fields of program management, administration, support and implementation, community development, knowledge building and sharing, youth and adult training. She has a rich and broad-based background having worked with various initiatives across the social human sciences sector including UNESCO, Resettlement Support Center-Africa, Innovations for Poverty Action and the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation. Prior to joining AFRILINK as the Program Coordinator-Kenya Office, Eva was the Program Manager of the Zawadi Africa Education Fund a leadership development program that provides university scholarships, leadership development and life skills training to academically gifted but financially disadvantaged African girls.  Eva holds an MA in Sociology- Rural Sociology and Community Development from the University of Nairobi and a BA in Social Work from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She is also a lecturer at St. Paul’s University Nairobi-Kenya. Eva is strongly bound by the vision to empower African youth who will to participate in the development of the continent through Education and Self – Determination ultimately becoming global leaders who inspire new generations.
